    CRF2023 Series Fiberglass Banjo Case – Universal Fat Style. Not every banjo player owns just one — and not every banjo fits the same case. The CRF2023BJ was built for that reality. With a body cavity that accommodates resonators up to 14.2 inches in diameter and an extra 0.25 inches of depth at the rim compared to our Mastertone model, this case welcomes a vast range of 5-string resonator banjos — from Gibson and Recording King to the deeper-bodied Deering models that push standard cases past their limit. Same 100% pure fiberglass shell. Same 20–25mm full-surround foam protection. Same donut-ring padding that cradles the resonator from the rim, not the back. Same 350g Loyal Green lining, same TSA lock, same backpack-ready hardware. Just more room for more banjos.

    • The fat-style banjo case is designed for the purpose of a universal case for most 5 strings tenor banjos with a resonator. Can be customized to fit a Mastertone banjo with removable padding strips.

    • 350g custom Loyal Green interior fabric, bonded with Crossrock's proprietary neutral-cure adhesive — independently certified colorfast and chemically inert, eliminating any risk of finish reaction on vintage or modern instruments.
    • Extended neck supporter with a built-in accessory compartment — more usable storage than standard cradles, keeping tuners, capos, spare strings, and picks organized and accessible.
