      The CRW720MF Master Series F-Style Mandolin Wooden Case is purpose-built for the F-style mandolin — the scroll-body instrument that sits at the heart of bluegrass music. Where most F-style cases compromise between protection and portability, the CRW720MF delivers both: a 7-layer high-density arched-top shell for structural integrity, paired with included backpack straps that are vanishingly rare on wooden mandolin cases.
      Inside, the case is molded to cradle the F-style mandolin's distinctive scroll and points. A 20mm (0.8") custom-molded foam lining — double the industry standard — works with the 900g high-density plush velvet interior to protect the instrument's carved top, scroll, and fragile headstock. The interior accommodates F-style mandolins with Tone-Guards attached, with removable padding strips for fine-tuning the fit to slightly smaller instruments.
      The exterior features a custom-woven boucle tweed fabric with a transparent PU waterproof base, delivering the vintage aesthetic bluegrass players love with modern water-repellent performance. The premium faux leather handle, reinforced rust-proof hardware, and center-mounted lock complete a case designed for the gigging mandolinist who needs professional protection — and the freedom to carry it hands-free.

    • Seven-Layer Arched Shell — Built for the F-Body. The CRW720MF shell is constructed from 7 layers of high-density board with an arched-top lid design. Most wooden mandolin cases use only 3–5 layers, and the majority feature flat-top lids. The arched geometry is engineering, not just aesthetics: it distributes external force across the curve, dramatically increasing crush resistance compared to flat-top construction. For F-style mandolins — where the scroll and points create vulnerable protrusions — the arched lid provides additional clearance above the instrument's highest point, reducing contact pressure on the scroll area.
    • 20mm Custom-Molded Foam — Scroll-Aware Design. Standard mandolin cases provide approximately 10mm of foam padding. The CRW720MF uses an exclusively tooled, custom-molded foam lining at 20mm (0.8") thickness.
    • 900g High-Density Plush Velvet — Finish-Safe Interior. The interior is upholstered in custom 900g high-density long-pile plush lining — The long-pile construction creates a deep, conforming cushion that prevents scratches and finish marks during transport. The lining undergoes a 4-level eco-friendly dye fixation process that locks color into the fibers, preventing dye migration onto your mandolin's finish.
